Depths & Dimensions

See the below suggested slopes and depths of pools, typical pool ratios have 25% of the length in the shallow end. The slope from the shallow end to the deep end should close to a 3 to 1 ratio for safety. If you want a deep pool you need to choose a longer pool. Keep in mind that pool steps will take up space in the shallow end.

Features

Waterfalls

Rock Waterfalls These are traditional waterfalls built using armor stone, usually chosen with curved pools. They provide a quiet sound in your backyard and a more natural look. The quiet operations allow for an easier time to talk.
Sheer Descents Sheer descent waterfalls are the more popular and modern choice. These water features are built into vertical walls of various heights and width. There are choices in length (1’, 2’, 3’, 4’) and with or without LED lights.
Water Bowls These waterfall features sit atop a feature wall or pillar, offering another option for a waterfall. They can be used on their own or in tandem with a sheer descent providing a different visual. At night these water bowls light up mimicking that of a fire bowl.

Steps & Benches

Custom Steel Steps, Benches, & Sunledges Custom concrete and steel steps, benches, and sunledges have become the preferred choice for 95% of the pools we build today. The liner wraps over the custom feature giving the pool a uniform colour and pattern, plus the added safety feature of a textured material over the steps. Whether you envision a sunledge where you can lounge in the water or benches within the pool for a comfortable seating area, we can bring your ideas to life.
Traditional Fiberglass Steps For pool owners who prefer a more traditional style and cost-effective option, fiberglass steps are the ideal choice. These steps are manufactured in predetermined molds, sizes, and colours, providing a classic look for your pool.

Patio & Feature Walls

Patio The patio surrounding your pool offers a wide range of materials, colours, and finishes. Choose between finished concrete or interlock and natural stone. Finished concrete allows textures such as broomed, stamped, or exposed aggregate. Interlock and natural stone provide a large selection of sizes and colours, allowing you to mix and match materials.
Feature Walls Feature walls serve both structural and visual purposes, allowing for customization based on your design needs. There is a wide selection of materials, heights, lengths and shapes to choose from. Additionally, you can incorporate sheers and water bowls into the design to enhance the overall ambiance.

Spas

In-ground Spa In-ground soaker-style hot tubs come in predetermined colors, sizes, and shapes. These hot tubs are designed to be positioned below the patio level, allowing you to conveniently step down into the spa area.

Deck Equipment & Features

Deck Jets Deck jets offer another level of fun in your backyard while offering the ability to create a noise barrier. They sit in your patio or garden bed, and deliver a stream of water to your pool. Depending on the height you choose, it offers a noise barrier to your neighbors and/or noise around you.
Bubblers Add bubblers to your benches and sun ledges for improved water circulation in your pool while adding excitement and fun.
Jump Rocks Diving boards are becoming increasingly more challenging to install due to safety regulations around pool size and depth. A jump rock offers a space for you and your family to jump into your pool without all the red tape.

Equipment

Pool Automation Management System

Making Pool ownership even easier and affordable with automation and system control. The OmniPL offers control over your lights, temperature, water features and schedules all through your phone or smart home device. The automation system will control your pool to deliver time-controlled features and energy savings.

Heater

The Hayward Universal H-series heater offers the very latest in heating technology. Reliable, long-lasting. They offer corrosion resistant Cupro Nickel heat exchanger, outstanding energy efficiency, electronic ignition optional power vented low NOx available. Ideal for todays salt water based pools.

Note: Heater venting where the exhausting is needed is extra. Jameson Pool Landscape will Quote and arrange your Gas & Electrical.

Cartridge Filters

This pool filter ensures superior water clarity. Gone are the days of having to backwash your sand filter, reducing the work for you. These filters are available in an array of sizes and we will recommend the best size for your project. These filters are cleaned usually only once a season.

Lighting

What way to truly enhance your nighttime pool life than with the installation of several underwater 1.5” low voltage LED multi-color lighting systems. Pool lighting brings your pool and yard to life, creating a new backyard atmosphere after the sun goes down with 10 fixed colors and 7 color changing light shows. All controlled by your phone.

These lights are small in size, but big on color with no winterizing required.

Automated Salt Chlorination

Say goodbye to red eyes, itchy skin and heavy chemical odors. The Turbo cell R is the simple, safe and affordable approach to sanitize pools. It automatically turns small amounts of ordinary salt into a regenerating supply of fresh pure chlorine. This chlorination method will make your water feel luxuriously soft and silky. There are also low salt models available as well.

Robotic Pool Cleaners

This is the most advanced portable pool cleaner available. The Polaris P945 runs independently of your pool with its own onboard power and filtration systems. It will scrub and clean your pool bottom and climb up your walls. Once the cleaner is full simply empty the basket, making it as easy as possible.

Note: There are more choices with remote control and smartphone connectivity available.

Pumps

With a wide range of pumps available, we will choose the right pump for your pool. All new pools have a choice between 2 Variable Speed pumps, Tristar VS 950 (2.70hp) or Tristar VS 900 (1.85hp). Variable speed pool pumps are the ultimate upgrade to save energy and simplify operations. These 2 models are ideal for pools with large water features or spas that need more water flow. The main benefit to a variable speed pump is the reduced noise and increased efficiency. Your pump is set on a timer to run a various speeds when needed, as you don’t need full power all of the time. Less noise means a quieter space.

Note: The Variable Speed Pump purchased with your pool will include and extended warranty of 3-years

Automatic Covers

Automatic pool covers are reliable and easy to use. Simply flip a switch, and your Coverstar automatic safety cover will create a barrier over your pool that no child or pet can penetrate. All automatic covers are custom-built to fit your pool perfectly and manufactured from best-in-class materials.

Liners & Safety Covers

Liners

All of our Liners are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities. Vinyl Liners are computer designed assuring a secure fit for today’s complex pool shapes. All liners are treated to resist bacteria, fungus growth and ultraviolet rays. A typical liner lasts 10 – 15 years depending on care and water chemistry. Vinyl Liners are simple to replace and renew a pool visually. All you need to do is choose your color and pattern.

Light colored liners have the print on white vinyl and makes the water look aqua blue during the day and maximizes pool light illumination at night.

Patterns printed on blue vinyl give a deeper, dramatic visual effect during the day, but reduces pool light illumination at night.

Safety Covers

All our safety covers are made in Canada from high quality Yard Guard Mesh. Each cover is custom made to fit your pool shape and any features. Once installed they prevent people and heavy materials from falling into your pool. Not to worry if you have a wall, each cover will be measured to fit your pool. There are 5 colors to choose from black, grey, blue, beige, and green.
